So yeah I'm back, expect more regular updates to the site. I will be posting my thoughts on games, whether they are worth your hard earned money or not. Again I will no specify a number on my reviews since it is impossible to gratify an exact digit to represent the performance of any given game. I will provide feedback as to whether it is worth your time and money. Also expect some of my thoughts on the industry and things that I find interesting.
I'm not asking you to come here for all your gaming goodness. Don't leave Joystiq, Giant Bomb or Kotaku over me. Come for the opinion of an avid gamer that enjoys videogames and stay for the pie. Actually there is no physical pie to speak of. I am aware that pies are delicious so I just used that to entice you to visit my site. See what I did there? Its an old trick, sorry if I got you all hungry for pie. Mind you, if there was a way to transmit pie across the interwebs and to you, the reader, I would be all over it. But sadly scientist have yet to discover this technology. I know, they are taking long aren't they, I'm sure they are keeping it secret so they can be pie overlords of this world.
Anyways stick around, as the title of this post suggested.

Big year in gaming
This year started out with a strong line up of games. Ranging from all genres. Majority if not all the games that released during the January to May period were pushed back from last years not so cluttered holiday line up. We all know the reason why a lot of the developers decided to delay their hard work. It was because of a little game called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Yeah its a small game, did alright on the sales chart, made a couple of bucks. What? You haven't heard of it? Well no one blames you.
All jokes aside, Modern Warfare 2 did make a big impact last year and it brought in a lot of monies for Activision. When I say "a lot", I mean a ridiculous amount. Have you seen the numbers for the DLC Map Packs that they released, its fantastical.
As a result of all the games being pushed back, we got the best game releases I have seen in the period of January to May ever. Yes thats right EVER!
The major hitters were Mass Effect 2( which I finished and will write up a final verdict of really soon. Here's a sneak peak: Go play it, its fantastic.), Darksiders, Bioshock 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Final Fantasy 13, Alan Wake, Red Dead Redemption, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, Split/Second, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and many more to come.
I will give an insight of these games, most of which I have finished. So many games, so little time. Stay tuned.

Joystiq vs Bungie
Several weeks ago, my friend Dustin Burg from the Joystiq Xbox network challenged the geniuses at Bungie Studios in a quest to claim the highly praised Recon Armor. Though the Joystiq team played fair and hard, Bungie always has a little surprise up their Recon shoulder armor. I was able to get this video from 360boostr.com, since it wouldn't play on my Xbox 360 through File Share network. Its relatively short, but it is enough to show how intense these battles can be with those Flamin Heads.
